Vietnam Trekking Map- Hanoi Laocai Bacha (4Days)
The 4-day trekking tour is arranged in Lao Cai and Bac Ha province taking you to both Vietnam popular and remote travel destinations such as Coc Ly market, Bac ha town, Ta Cu Ty village, Nam Dan…Begin your Vietnam adventure holidays with a overnight train from Hanoi to Lao cai. Visit the Coc Ly market, open on Tuesday only before continue your outdoor trip hiking from Bac Ha to Ha Giang province. You trek along hillside, through terraced rice fields and local hill tribe villages. Meeting up with different ethnic groups including the Flower H’mong, the Dao, the Tay…Spending the night at their home also offers a real life experience. The tour is provided with experienced English-speaking tour guide, support vehicle, local porters, cook and trekking equipments. Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi Lao Cai – Coc Ly Tuesday market – Bac Ha
Arrive at Lao Cai Railway station early this morning. You will be greeted by our local team and transferred to a local restaurant for early breakfast. Transfer by road to Coc Ly market which is open on Tuesday only. Spend about 3 hours visiting the market where tribal peoples in their best traditional costumes come not only for shopping but also for socializing. Drive to Bac Ha. Lunch will be provided in a local restaurant in town. In the afternoon, enjoy a short easy walk to a H’mong village near Bac Ha town. Overnight in Bac Ha.
Day 2: Bac Ha – Ta Cu Ty Village
Breakfast at hotel. Travel to Lung Phin commune where we will begin our trek along a narrow trail on steep hillsides to Lu Suoi Tung village. Lunch will be provided in a local village. After lunch, continue trekking through the forest to the top of Ta Cu Ty mountain range (hard trek) and then downhill to a Red Dzao village. Dinner and homestay in a stilt house.
Day 3: Ta Cu Ty - Nam Dan commune
Leaving Ta Cu Ty for a medium trek the whole morning along a large path with great view over a Nung village. Lunch will be provided in a local hill tribe village. After lunch, we will follow a narrow footpath trekking for about 3 hours (hard trek) up and downhill through the thick forest. Visit the rock-field with scripts carved by ancient peoples. Arrive the village around late afternoon. Dinner and homestay in a local house.
Day 4: Nam Dan – Bac Ha – Lao Cai – Ha Noi
After breakfast, we will trek for three more hours along a trail which winds its way on the side of the high mountain range, overlooking down the Nam Dan valley. Join our vehicle again and travel to Xin Man. Have lunch in a local restaurant in Xin Man before travelling to Lao Cai railway station. Day use will be arranged in a standard hotel in Laocai before the train trip to Hanoi. Train Departure at 21:00 (To be confirmed). Trip ends.
