Vietnam Trekking Map-Hanoi Bacha Hagiang ( 5 Days )
The 5-day trekking tour is arranged in Lao Cai province, Bac Ha and Ha Giang province taking you to both Vietnam popular tourist destinations and remote travel places such as Bac ha town, Ta Cu Ty village, Nam Dan, Nam Choong village, Quang Binh…Begin your Vietnam adventure holidays with a overnight train from Hanoi to Lao cai. Visit Bac Ha Sunday market before continue your outdoor trip hiking from Bac Ha to Ha Giang province. You trek along hillside, through terraced rice fields and local hill tribe villages where you meet up with different ethnic groups including the Flower H’mong, the Dao, the Tay…Spending the night at their home also offers a real life experience. The tour is provided with experienced English-speaking tour guide, support vehicle, local porters, cook and trekking equipments. This 4-day hiking tour is a challenging trek that is only recommended for active travelers travelling in small group size. The best time to travel this itinerary is April and October. Itinerary:
Day 1: From Hanoi to Laocai early this morning. Travel to Bac Ha
Arrive at Lao Cai Railway station early this morning. You will be greeted by Lotussia Travel local team and transferred to a local restaurant for early breakfast. After a short rest, travel to Bac Ha. Visit Bac Ha market, the biggest market in the area. Every Sunday, different ethnic groups come to the market to sell their homemade products or buy something for the family. They are Hmong, Phu La, Back Dzao, Tay or Nung minorities. Some of these ethnic minorities can’t be met in any other areas.
Lunch will be provided in a local restaurant in town.
In the afternoon, enjoy a short easy walk to a H’mong village near Bac Ha town.
Dinner and overnight in Bac Ha.
Day 2: Bac Ha – Ta Cu Ty village
Breakfast at hotel. Travel to Lung Phin commune where we will begin our trek along a narrow trail on steep hillsides to Lu Suoi Tung village. Lunch will be provided in a local village (picnic). After lunch, continue trekking through the forest to the top of Ta Cu Ty mountain range (hard trek) and then downhill to a Red Dzao village. Dinner and homestay in a stilt house.
Day 3: Ta Cu Ty - Nam Dan commune
Leaving Ta Cu Ty village for the whole morning medium trek along a large path with great view over a Nung village.
Lunch will be provided in a local hill tribe village (picnic).
After lunch, we will follow a narrow footpath trekking for about 3 hours (hard trek) up and downhill through the thick forest. Visit the rock-field with scripts carved by ancient peoples. Arrive the village around late afternoon.
Dinner and homestay in a local house.
Day 4: Nam Dan – Nam Choong village
Transfer along a paved road to the southern side of the mountain. Enjoy 3 hours easy trekking through Tay and Dzao villages along the narrow valley of the Nam Ty River.
Lunch will be provided in a local house (picnic).
After lunch, continue our trek crossing the river to the southern bank, then uphill, downhill to a Dzao village, set on the bank of Nam Ty river, endowed with a mineral hot spring.
Dinner and overnight in a house on stilt.
Day 5: Nam Choong village – Quang Binh – Hanoi
Travel the dirt road to Na Chi. Then have quite a full day drive to Hanoi. Lunch will be provided in a local restaurant en route. Arrive Hanoi around late afternoon. Trip ends.
