DETAILED ITINERARY:
Night 1: Night train to Lao Cai.
Transfer from your hotel to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Lao Cai. Overnight in AC soft sleeper cabin.
Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat Village
Arrive in Lao Cai around 5.30 am. We will take 1hr bus ride uphill to the beautiful town of Sapa. The ride give you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. Upon arrival in Sapa Town we will enjoy a walk to visit Sapa market and
Day 2: Sapa – Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai
We travel by car toward the Muong Hoa valley, enjoy the trek to Ta Van village, the habitat of Giay tribe then cross the rice terraces to reach the bamboo forest. Reaching Giang Ta Chai village in the afternoon for picnic lunch by a beautiful waterslice.
Continue our walk to the community of Red Dzao people, visit their houses and enjoy the intimate conversation with local families. Back to Sapa town for resting
Day 3: Hill tribe market
Most of the tribe markets are located far from Sapa, we thus will depart early in the morning to see the market at the most crowded time. The market itself is very interesting with some basic trading activities and odd items as well the trading way. Free time for photos and resting.
Enjoy a scenic trek to secluded village of Flower Hmong, Nung or Tay tribe on the way back. For visitors who enjoy Coc Ly, Bac Ha, Cao Son and Lung Khau Nhin market, there are options to take the boat trip on Chay river. Back to Lao Cai city for the train returning to Hanoi
Day 4: Hanoi
